Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific introduces two new laptops expanding its LifeBook range.
The new additions are the Fujitsu LifeBook S6520 and LifeBook S6420 laptops.
The LifeBook S6520 comes housed in a luminous black magnesium cover, the ultra-thin computing device sports 14.1-inch wide SuperFine back light LED screen with 300nits of brightness. It incorporates Fujitsu’s SlimEdge Design to let the widescreen display rest in a 13.3-inch wide form factor. Furthermore, the S6520 boasts the integration of the S3 Chrome 430 ULP along with PowerWise technology that ensures an optimal balance between performance and power.
Powered by Intel Centrino 2 processor technology, the LifeBook S6520 also sports Intel Core 2 Duo processor and comes equipped with an Intel PM45 Express Chipset and Intel Wi-Fi Link 5300AGN (3×3) for wireless connection.
The other specifications include the Microsoft DirectX 10.1, ChromotionHD Video Technology for the high definition video playback, an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam, dual stereo microphones and a dual layer DVD Super multi writer.
Weighing 1.7kg, the LifeBook S6520 also comes bundled with a wide range of security features that include Fingerprint Sensor, Fujitsu 3D Shock Sensor, BIOS Lock, LifeBook Lock, Hard Disk Lock and an optional Trusted Platform Module (TPM).
Running on a 6-cell Li-ion 5800mAh battery, the Fujitsu LifeBook S6520 claims to provide up to 4 hours of continuous operation.
The LifeBook S6420 is a stylish and slim laptop that comes in a new lively shade of pearl white and a two-tone red-blue keyboard.
Wighing around 1.9 kg, the LifeBook S6420 employs a 13.3-inch SuperFine widescreen that is capable of delivering 250nits of brightness and a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It sports the latest Intel Centrino 2 processor technology, Mobile Intel GM45/PM45 Express Chipset and Intel Wi-Fi Link 5300AGN (3×3) network connection.
The other attributes include a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam, dual stereo microphones, dual layer DVD Super multi writer and an ECO button to activate efficient power consumption mode.
Based on a 6-cell Li-ion 5800mAh battery, the LifeBook S6420 has the ability to offer almost five hours of usage. In terms of security features, the S6420 laptop shares the same features as that of S6520.
