Toshiba has rolled out two new gaming laptops, Qosmio X305-Q708 and X305-Q706, under the very popular Qosmio line. These new laptops incorporate three powerful NVIDIA GPUs (graphics processing unit).
Both the high performance gaming laptops support GeForce 9400M GPU, offering two Nvidia GeForce 9800M GTS cards in a scalable link interface and one integrated GeForce 9400M. The laptops are also compatible with NVIDIA SLI technology and enable users to switch a quiet operation mode with NVIDIA Hybrid SLI technology.
It is said that in the Hybrid SLI operation, the powerful 9800M GTS GPUs are powered down and graphics operation is transferred to the GeForce 9400M GPU. This results in record-breaking gaming performance at high resolutions. Furthermore, it also ensures a quiet state when powering other types of Windows Vista applications.
The Toshiba Qosmio X305-Q708 and X305-Q706 gaming laptops are immediately available at Toshiba stores with a starting price of $1,999 (approx. Rs. 95,496).
