Dell Laptops in Pink

Spring invites people to utilize bright and warm colors in any device, clothing or accessories. The season has also sent an invitation to Dell to roll out two of its very renowned notebooks PCs dubbed XPS M1530 and M1330, in Pink.

Members of Dell’s Inspiron laptops, these models get Pink colors due to Pantone, which has listed Pink in the Top 10 colors for Spring 2008. Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, expressed, “Pinks are as popular with technology products as they are with clothing this spring. Now-a-days, consumers are using and carrying colorful laptops and technology products as a way to express themselves.”

In addition to pink, the other colors include Midnight Blue, Tuxedo Black and red along with eight color choices and four patterns.

“It was an easy decision for us to add pink as an option to the XPS M1330, and M1530 since pink is the second most popular color for our Inspiron laptops” mentioned Michael Tatelman, vice president of Dell’s global consumer business. “While customers appreciate the sleek, no-nonsense XPS look, they also wanted a wider variety in color options. We think they are going to love it.”

Both the laptops carry multimedia features such as Dell MediaDirect technology Windows Media Center, optional Creative noise-isolation earphones and optional travel remote control (IR) that slips into the ExpressCard slot.
