We had reported about the Fujitsu U1010 UMPC few months back. Now, Asia Pacific-based Fujitsu PC has announced the availability of its new ultra mobile PC in the LifeBook series, called the U1010, in India.
Designed for field professionals, mobile executives and ones who are inclined towards technology, the U1010 works as a portable computer along with a digital media player for the user to work and entertain themselves.
The multi-purpose computer allows the owner to watch movies, listen to music, view and edit documents, video-conferencing, surf the internet as well as security features for confidentiality of information.
“With the birth of the LifeBook U1010, we’ve placed ourselves in a distinct niche. Our very first tablet-convertible UMPC will create waves in the market. We’ve not only managed to create a fun product to cater to the leisure side of our consumers, we’ve also added a serious element to it – a mobile workstation for active professionals who are constantly on the move,” said Hanson Yap, Associate Product Manager of Fujitsu.
Running on Intel’s latest Ultra Mobile Platform 2007, the Fujitsu U1010 also features a fingerprint sensor to encryption of sensitive files with a swipe of your finger.
Fujitsu LifeBook U1010 UMPC is currently available through Salora International at Rs. 85,000/- with a warranty of 3 years.
