Hewlett Packard has come up with a unique online contest, called the HP Toyrama for skilled animators. The company said that this contest has been inspired from the HP xw9400 Workstation.
This contest challenges the best digital content creators to create innovative and rich multimedia stop-motion animation, which features five toy characters, including Sancho, Farm Girl, Ranger, Jogger and Green from Monsterism Island. These have been designed by cult toy designer Pete Fowler.
The entries are also going to be judged by the famous freelance illustrator Pete Fowler.
Divided in two categories, the contest targets two segments. One is the enthusiasts, amateurs or students with a passion for animation; and other is the professional segment for the more talented animators.
Try out your skills and create the most entertaining animation submissions at the HP Toyrama website. Four lucky winners will win Autodesk Maya software and an opportunity to tour the DreamWorks facility at Los Angeles, USA to bring your imagination to life with the experts.
The animator will also get a chance to display their work on an online gallery. Visit the www.hptoyrama.com site and craft the most entertaining movies using the scenarios and backgrounds that are available on the website.

The HP xw9400 Business Workstation features an AMD Opteron processor, dual-core, dual-processor horsepower for advanced graphics capabilities and increased customer productivity. Moreover, the workstation also sports an easy-to-maintain tool-less access design and a highly expandable dual-socket chassis.
Unfolded in selected Asia Pacific countries including India, the HP Toyrama contest will be open till 9th November 2007.
