Carphone Warehouse has come up with a new scheme where they would offer a free laptop to customers as part of an AOL broadband internet package. The consumer needs to sign a two year broadband plan.
With this partnership, the buyers will be able to enjoy the scheme through internet sales, sales at selected Carphone Warehouse retail outlets and even over the phone.
A Dell Inspiron laptop and a wireless router is what the scheme offers after signing a two year contract at £19.99 per month.
According to a Dell spokeswoman, “Offering systems in Carphone Warehouse is a major opportunity for Dell to connect with customers we may not have necessarily reached in the past.”
The reason for choosing Dell as the partner seems to be because of its commitment to customers, quality and offering the latest technology that is customizable and personal, claims the Dell spokeswoman.
AOL broadband deal is to overcome their previous scheme, which offered free broadband connections to their customers.
Probably, Carphone Warehouse is been inspired by a very similar offer from Orange. It had teamed up with Currys to offer £300 off on any laptop if a customer signs at least 24 months of its broadband service.
