New Asus C90 Notebook Details Emerge

The C90 Notebook has been the talk of the tech town from the time it was announced by Asus. Now, they have revealed more details about the laptop. It offers gizmo freaks the freedom to choose the best hardware for their laptops.

The C90 by Asus supports the Core 2 Extreme processor up to X6800. As for the operating systems, it takes in the Windows Vista Home, Premium, Ultimate and Business edition. It has the Intel 945 G Chipset + ICH7 Southbridge and 2 SO-DIMM Sockets for Expansion Up to 3GB and supports up to 3GB Dual Channel DDRII 800MHz SDRAM.

The notebook has been made in such a way that it would appeal everyone, including gamers. It features a NVIDIA Mobile PCI Express Module up to GeForce 8600M GT 256MB/512MB. The display, well, it goes up to WSXGA+(1680×1050) as it has the Color Shine 15.4” LCD. Then there is a 2.0 Mega pixels rotate CMOS Camera with face tracking function. And if you are wondering, what they have packed in for the audio? They have put in a built-in Azalia Compliant Audio Chip, built-in high quality speakers and 2 internal microphones.

The Asus C90 Notebook also has an optical drive that supports DVD Combo, DVD Super-Multi, HD DVD and Blu-ray Drive. There is an 8-in-1 MMC/SD/Mini-SD/XD/MS/MS-Pro/MS-Duo/MS-Pro-Duo card reader. It also includes a fan-control & multi-heat pipe thermal module. Along with all this, there are other things like USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity and it supports any SATA HDD. It weighs approximately 3.1 kilograms.

The price of the Asus C90 Notebook starts at $950 (approx. Rs. 38, 730). So, it does not seem that expensive!
