Sahara Computers and Electronics have announced a range of Sahara laptop and desktop computers.
The new range includes Core Duo and Core 2 Duo laptops and desktops and Intel’s new business Platform Santa Rosa based laptop.
The new 15.4″ wide screen laptop runs on the Intel Core Duo Processor and will be available with operating systems like Windows XP, Vista, and Linux. It weighs 2.46 kg and other features are built-in high definition audio, inbuilt wireless card, super multi DVD-RW, wireless, LAN, HDD Access, Quick start buttons, and power button. The laptop will be powered by 8-cell battery having four hours of battery life. The 15.4″ wide screen laptop will be priced at Rs 35,999 (without taxes) and comes with a 3-year warranty.
The Sahara Core 2 Duo desktop includes a 17″ TFT monitor, multimedia keyboard, and optical mouse. The desktop further features Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 2.0GHz 800MHz 2MB processor, 512 MB RAM, 160 GB HD, and DVD-RW, this is one of the high end PCs launched by Sahara Computers on the Intel platform. The desktop is available at the price of Rs 25,999 with Sahara dealers.
Sahara has unveiled a high-end notebook especially for fashion oriented users. The laptop works on the Santa Rosa platform. It is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processor and Intel GM 965 / GL 960 chipset. Besides, it comes with 120GB HDD with 1 GB RAM. The laptop incorporates a12.1 inches LCD screen and weighs just 1.9 kg. Additional features of this notebook are that it has a battery back up of 3.5 hours. It is added with multi DVD-RW, high definition 1.3 mega pixel audio Webcam, Bluetooth, and card reader.
The high-end laptop is available with Sahara dealers with immediate effect at the price of Rs 45,000.
