Lenovo Blue Sky ThinkCentre A61e Desktop PC Announced

Lenovo ThinkCentre A61e Desktop Lenovo has introduced its new Blue Sky Desktop computer, called the ThinkCentre A61e. Lenovo said that it is the smallest and most energy-efficient desktop PC.

It is said that the new desktop is about 25 percent smaller than the earlier ThinkCentre desktops. The full-functioning PC runs on 45 watts of power. You can power the PC by a solar panel.

Lenovo offers two processor options for A61e to run. It can either run on the AMD’s Athlon 64×2 dual-core processor or the Sempron processor.

Preloaded with either the Windows Vista Business or Windows XP Professional operating system, Lenovo ThinkCentre A61e features a 4GB memory, ultra-slim HDD ranging from 80GB to 750GB.

Lenovo ThinkCentre A61e is the first product to win a Gold EPEAT rating from the Green Electronic Council for its energy efficiency and recyclable materials. It has made use of up to 90 percent of reusable or recyclable materials.

Lenovo ThinkCentre A61e Blue Sky will be available directly from Lenovo in October with the price starting from $399 (approx. Rs. 16,000). The cost of the mouse and keyboard is not included.
