Toshiba Corp has announced the dynabook SS RX notebook series in Japan
These to be launched notebooks offer durability and up to 12.5 hours battery life. Toshiba has not released the names of the laptops to be launched but the features have been disclosed.
The new line-up includes the world’s lightest notebook PC, a version with flash memory storage and optical disk drive that weighs in at 848 grams. Thus, they are extremely portable. Its sister model is the world’s lightest with a hard drive and optical drive, and weighs just 959 grams. All PCs in the series share another claim to fame: the world’s slimmest case, only 19.5mm at the slimmest point. And all can boast of long battery life, thanks to a high capacity battery pack with a life of as long as 12.5 hours
