Lenovo T61, R6I and 3000 N200 Notebooks Launched in India

Lenovo has introduced the ThinkPad T61 and ThinkPad R61, two 14.1-inch widescreen notebooks, in India. Both the Lenovo notebooks feature latest innovations such as new Top Cover Roll Cage for excellent durability, an improved cooling system, enhanced wireless connectivity with Ultra Connect II and longer battery life through its Battery Stretch control option.

Lenovo's newly launched notebooks

Lenovo claims that the stress on the LCD screen is reduced by 25 percent by the top cover roll cage. Also an improved cooling system is incorporated with the newly launched notebooks, which reduces surface temperature by up to 10 percent. While Ultra Connect II reduce effects of conductive material and LCD noise, which results in improved WWAN and WLAN performance

Integrated biometric fingerprint reader, and smart card reader ensures security of the notebook. Also Up to 15 percent longer battery life is what these laptops promise to deliver.

Lenovo has also introduced the Lenovo 3000 N200, a 15.4-inch widescreen notebook, offering good connectivity and graphics capabilities with the latest Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology. The N200 provides various connectivity options like WLAN, 10/100 Ethernet, and Bluetooth.

Customers can make a choice between Intel integrated graphics and Nvidia, combined with options like integrated camera and microphone, and a five-in-one multicard reader while purchasing Lenovo ThinkPad T61 and R61.

The ThinkPad T61 and R61 are available in the market from May end and their costs are approximately Rs. 85,000 and Rs. 60,000. While Lenovo 3000 N200 15.4-inch widescreen notebook starts at approximately Rs. 53,500. All three notebooks are available through Lenovo Business Partners or one can buy it online at www.lenovo.com.
