Limited Edition Pristine White and Beige Grisé Kuro Plasma TVs Announced by Pioneer

Pioneer has announced the launch of its two new limited edition Kuro Plasma TVs, called the Beige Grisé KRP-500ABG and Pristine White KRP-500AW. Only 1,000 quantity of Beige Grisé TVs will be produced, and the Pristine White will be available in limited models of 1,500.

At just 64 mm slim, both the televisions provide flicker-free images in razor-sharp 1080p resolution and possess the ability to display Blu-ray format movies on 50-inch screen. The KRP-500ABG and KRP-500AW integrate an enhanced Optimum Mode with optical light sensor that automatically adjusts picture settings, an extra colour sensor for finest picture quality, and a PURE AV selection mode to re-generate images with precise quality.

Besides, the other features of the Kuro Plasma TVs are integrated analogue tuner, a digital terrestrial (DVB-T) tuner and a digital satellite (DVB-S/DVB-S2) tuner. Both the TVs also sport two integrated common interface slots, four HDMI interface, support for the EICTA ‘HD TV 1080p’ and MPEG-4 high definition decoding.

Compatible with a Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA), the new Kuro-branded Plasma TVs can easily get connected to a home or local area network for remotely play contents.

Furthermore, these stylish and elegant televisions come bundled with a glossy black and whisper-quiet media receiver and aluminum preset remote control.

Both the Pioneer Beige Grisé KRP-500ABG and Pristine White KRP-500AW Kuro Plasma Televisions are expected to hit the European market by November. Pricing is still not announced.
