Named after the primordial Greek God of darkness, the iBuyPower Erebus GT gaming PC was unveiled at the CES 2012 that’s taking place in Las Vegas. The company attempts to draw attention towards rigs featuring some nifty overclocking abilities as well as liquid cooling capabilities with this system.

The latest edition of this gaming PC is the second generation version of the gadget which has undergone some handy redesigning as compared to the earlier version. This has been done to maintain its cooling talent, while at the same time, to offer a smaller footprint. The rig also includes a top fill port similar to its predecessor, the built-in reservoir which can be checked right through the front panel. Transparent fins at the top facilitate redirecting exhaust to the rear side of the construct.

“The Erebus was an incredibly successful system, however we pay close attention to customer feedback and knew we could improve on the original design.” explained Darren Su, Executive Vice President of iBuyPower. “As requested, we were able to reduce both the size and price of the system without significantly impacting performance. The slightly smaller Erebus GT is every bit the equal of the larger first generation model, armed with unmatched cooling capabilities and designed to be overclocked.”
