The collection of entertainment gadgets just got a new addition in the form of the freshly launched CyberLink PowerDVD 12 Ultra Blu-ray and media player. The latest version of the PowerDVD lets users stream, store and share their multimedia content across smartphones, tablets and laptops running on Windows, iOS and Android platforms.
This home entertainment device has to be used with the free PowerDVD Mobile v.4 and PowerDVD Remote v.2 apps. It comes integrated with TrueTheater technology that is apparently responsible for producing cutting edge HD and 3D picture quality from low-resolution videos, DVDs and social media website content. The CyberLink gadget is available in English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Russian Portuguese and Korean languages.

The PowerDVD 12 is capable of converting Blu-ray movies from 2D to 3D, syncing media gallery content with Android devices and delivering 7.1 channel surround sound audio from DTS and Dolby with new lossless audio format support for OGG and FLAC files. The PowerDVD Mobile v.4 application lets users seamlessly play, share and wirelessly stream their multimedia content from the PC to the smartphone, tablet or laptop. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and high-definition videos along with the music and photo playback features in PowerDVD can be managed through the PowerDVD Remote v.2 app.
The CyberLink PowerDVD 12 Ultra Blu-ray and media player price is tagged at $99.95 (approx. Rs. 4,913) and it can now be purchased online at cyberlink.com. The PowerDVD Mobile v.4 and PowerDVD Remote v.2 apps are available at the App Store and Android Market for free.
