Sony DAV-X10 Home Theatre System

Yesterday Sony announced the launch of DAV-X10, a home theatre system made especially designed for homes.

The new home theatre system features S-Force PRO technology that delivers good quality audio effect using just two satellite speakers and a central subwoofer. The combined power of a central subwoofer and two speakers is 480W.

Thanks to HDMI routing, the device supports sound built into HD sources and upscale video from lower-resolution DVD and TV sources up to either 720p or 1080i. Besides, Sony Bravia TV set users can also have HDMI linkup to control the receiver through their main remote control.

The DAV-X10 features touch-sensitive buttons on the main body, and a Bluetooth adapter that can stream audio directly from a cellphone or a PC.

Sony has not revealed the price of DAv-X10 home theatre system, but it should most probably be available in the European market by September 2007.
