Besides, they come with an enhanced conversational voice recognition system, which is designed for hands-free dialing of compatible Bluetooth-enabled handsets. This application controls the whole music collection on iPod players. All you need to do is say the artist name, album name, playlist name and music genre. While calling, you need to call out the person’s name.

In regards to navigation features, these in-dash systems incorporate comprehensive map database from Tele Atlas, which includes the US, Canada, Alaska and Hawaii maps; over 12-million points of interest (POI) that consists of gas stations, ATMs, hotels and restaurants. On the AVIC-F900BT and AVIC-F90BT model, the specific landmarks are illustrated using 3-dimentional icons.

In addition to text-to-speech, all three models are capable of prompting street names for safe driving. Owners of the AVIC-F900BT and AVIC-F90BT have the freedom to access updated traffic, weather forecasts, gas prices and movie time information.
