Navigon 2120 GPS System Unveiled

Navigon has launched its new personal navigation device, called the Navigon 2120.

This affordable device sports basic features such as text-to-speech functionality, announcing directions and street names in both English and Canadian French. the entry-level product also includes the company’s exclusive Reality View technology that allows photo-realistic views of complex intersections to reduce driver stress.

According to Andreas Hecht, NAVIGON’s general manager for the Americas, “Consumers and retailers have responded extremely well to the stylish design and feature set our North American product line offers. The NAVIGON 2120 builds on our innovative product line by providing consumers with premium features, such as text-to-speech, as well as Canadian maps, at an entry level price. Navigating Canada has never been easier, or more affordable, than it is with the NAVIGON 2120 in the driver’s seat.”

The 2D and 3D maps views, anti-glare 3.5-inch touchscreen, simple-to-maneuver menus, predictive text and city-first or street-first data entry along with millions of pre-loaded points of interest are some of the other features that are equipped into the GPS unit.

User can buy NAVIGON Lifetime Traffic and ZAGAT Survey Ratings and Reviews, which offers coverage across Canada and the U.S. with the traffic feature covering Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto in addition to 65 major U.S. markets and ZAGAT covering more than 21,000 locations in North America.

Navigon 2120 GPS device carries a price tag of $312 (approx. Rs. 12,480). You need to shell extra $145 (approx. Rs. 5,800) to buy the live traffic info and Zagat Survey Ratings.
