In June, we had reported about the announcement of iRiver NV. Now, iRiver has announced the shipment of the already introduced product iRiver NV, which was formerly known as M10.
The features of the iRiver NV include GPS with SIRF Star III, DMB-T tuner and portable media player with built-in FM tuner. For video, the device is compatible with Divx, Xvid and H.264 file formats. The player makes use of dual core processor and runs on Windows CE 5.0.
More precisely, NV supports AVI (Divx, Xvid, MPEG-4 720×480 @ 30fps) /H.264 (352×288 @30fps), ASF, WMV, MPG, MPEG, DAT, MP3, WMA, OGG, AC3, BSAC. The big wheel acts as a knob that controls the whole device.
Additionally, it also comes with a 7-inch LED TFT screen with 800×480px resolution, 1.3 megapixel Camera, OGG audio player, supporting MP1, MP2, MP2.5, WMA7, WMA8, WMA9 video player and 2 SD Card slots. It also provides stereo speakers and USB connectivity.
The iRiver NV portable media player carries a price tag of 498,000 Won (approx. Rs. 21,400) and is currently available in Korea. There is news flying in the air about the upcoming availability of iRiver NV in Asia.
