Pioneer AVIC-X3 GPS Pioneer has announced its latest in-dash GPS navigation system called the AVIC-X3, which also entertains the user,.

The latest X3 system makes use of sensors to identify directions. It also utilizes 3D gyroscope and car speed sensor along with the sensitive GPS receiver. The new device enables the user to find pinpoint-accurate direction, local hotel or parking spaces. Drivers can avoid the traffic jams and even experience DVD through AVIC-X3.

The in-dash system also features a 7-inch motorized touch-screen, ability to play CDs and DVDs along with compressed tunes (MP3, WMA, AAC) or video (DivX) stored on CD-R or DVD-R.

Furthermore, it also crams with dual-zone that offers optional rear-seat for the passengers to watch video or play video games. At the same time, the user can surf the navigation system and listen to radio up-front.

AVIC-X3 also provides traffic message channel compatibility, 1.5 million points of interest, and Bluetooth connectivity. It delivers input options to hook up camcorders and gaming consoles to the system.

The Pioneer AVIC-X3 navigation system is expected to be hit the stores in Europe in September this year. However, there is no word on pricing.
