An arsenal for the upcoming Soulcalibur V video game, the Mad Catz Soulcalibur V Arcade FightStick Soul Edition has now started shipping. The tournament edition fighting game controller can be used in conjunction with the Xbox 360 as well as the PS3.
This FightStick featuring a stick layout has been embedded with the Namco Noir button. Designed with custom artwork, it is fitted with a Japanese-style ball-handled joystick in addition to easily accessible 30mm 8 Sanwa action buttons. Two different turbo speeds can be achieved on these buttons thanks to the multi-speed turbo functionality, which users can monitor on the control panel. There’s also an option to disable the turbo settings for tournament.

The ergonomic controller features a lock key to avoid accidental hits on the Xbox guide buttons. The unique translucent design offers a glimpse of what’s inside the controller. Also, the stainless steel screws of the control panel give a sword-like appearance complete with a lustrous finish. Its three-way joystick lets gamers switch between the default D-pad setting, left and right analog sticks to suit their preferences.
The Mad Catz Soulcalibur V Arcade FightStick Soul Edition priced at $159.99 (approx. Rs. 8,400), is now available through authorized retailers.
