Coinciding with the release of the new video game, the Mad Catz Street Fighter X Tekken game controller range was outed recently in the U.S. Compatible with both major consoles – PS3 and Xbox 360, this series includes a trio of controllers, namely the Street Fighter X Tekken FightPad SD, the Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick PRO and the flagship Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick V.S.

First in the Mad Catz Street Fighter X Tekken game controller range is the FightPad SD device, which features a new Super Deformed (SD) design that is said to have been inspired by Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono. A 6-button layout is also present on the controller along with additional multi-speed Turbo functionality, USB connectivity and an enlarged circular 8-way floating D-Pad. The Xbox 360 version of this hardware even offers an headset port for use with Xbox Live.

The Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick PRO is proffered with Japanese-style Sanwa Denshi joystick and buttons. Its 8-button layout with additional multi-speed Turbo functionality is complemented by a lock/unlock switch and a lag-free USB cable. This product is an enhanced edition of the Soulcalibur V Arcade FightStick Soul Edition which was released in January.

The last controller in the lineup is the Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick V.S. which comes with Japanese-style Sanwa Denshi joystick and buttons too. It is highlighted by some decent quality components that are placed according to the genuine arcade layout. By connecting two such controllers, gamers will be able to enjoy side-by-side arcade gameplay.

The Mad Catz Street Fighter X Tekken game controller range price and availability details have been revealed by the company. The FightPad SD sells at $39.99 (approx. Rs. 1,990), while the Arcade FightStick PRO is priced at $159.99 (approx. Rs. 7,965). On the other hand, the FightStick V.S. can be bought by shelling out $199.99 (approx. Rs. 9,960).
