The all new Razer Taipan ambidextrous mouse claims to provide an ‘unfair advantage’ to all sorts of gamers. This peripheral boasts of improved sensor technology and ergonomics for delivering some pretty responsive gameplay.

The company claims to have partnered with professional gaming fronts like Frenetic Array, Mousesports, Empire, Quantic, Rox Kis and Type II Gaming to fine-tune the shape, weight and balance of the gear. The mouse in question is symmetrical and shows off a narrow footprint, with a curved back panel to make it comfortable for different players. Its weight distribution has apparently been crafted to proffer a firm grip to users.

The Razer Taipan is engineered to deliver an astounding 8200 dpi 4G Dual Sensor System to provide gamers with the fastest mouse tracking, enhanced ambidextrous ergonomics and Razer Synapse 2.0 support. Anything is possible with the Razer Taipan,” cited Robert Krakoff, president of Razer USA.

This accessory is powered by the company’s 8200 dpi 4G dual sensor system that employs both optical and laser sensors to make for an intuitive experience. It allows liftoff cutoff customization as well as Z-axis tracking to deliver better aiming capabilities. The Razer Taipan claims to offer comfort to right-handed players as well as those using their palms, fingertips or other styles of handling the device.

The accessory is integrated with the Synapse 2.0 software that serves as a cloud hoarding facility for storing settings and custom profiles, mitigating the need of repeated set-ups. This should also allow porting the required settings to an alternative mouse.

The Razer Taipan price is marked at $79.99 and it is expected to hit retail stores this July.
