It’s finally official that the left-handed Razer Naga MMO gaming mouse will indeed see the light of the day. The CEO of the company had promised to release a variant that suits the left-handed gamers if its Facebook community managed to get 10,000 likes before April 21. It turns out that users cannot wait to grab the gaming rodent in question as the required number of ‘likes’ were obtained in less than a week after the update was posted.

Apparently, the company is the only one in the market to offer professional left handed gaming mice and the Naga version will be the second in the portfolio after Razer’s DeathAdder, which was released about two years ago. Featuring 17 MMO-optimized keys, it allows users to customize the peripheral with a number of in-game commands. The comfortable device facilitates gaming for an extended period and the ergonomic form factor should ensure access to all buttons.

“That Facebook post generated more buzz than we could’ve ever imagined, which proves that there have been a number of gamers that have had their needs ignored for some time. We pride ourselves on being gamers ourselves, and we all know that there is no substitute for gaming with your dominant hand,” stated Min-Liang Tan, Razer CEO and Chief Gamer.

The gaming peirpheral has been deployed with a 3.5G laser sensor and delivers 5600dpi precision. Weighing approximately 134 grams, it measures 116 x 70 x 46 millimeters and claims to have a response time of 1ms. Moreover, players can also take advantage of the optional MMO-specific software add-ons.

There is no word on the left-handed Razer Naga MMO gaming mouse release date and price details as yet.
