60beat GamePad Controller

Apple users are in for a treat as the 60beat GamePad controller has especially been designed to turn the iOS devices into full fledged gaming consoles. It can be connected to the iPhone, iPod and iPad through the 3.5mm headphone jack by means of a standard audio connector.

Ubergizmo reports, it is especially designed to resemble the conventional external game controllers. The ergonomic design of the device claims to offer users with superior comfort as well as total control. It comes drenched in white color and the joysticks and buttons are painted black. These buttons are carved out of hard resin plastic.

This full-fledged gaming accessory comes with most required features. The dual analog joysticks facilitate easy control over games, while it is also embedded with 10 action buttons. Two of these 10 keys are positioned over the joysticks. Also included are 3 menu buttons along with a D-Pad, similar to gaming console controllers. And needless to say, it has a headphone jack.

The GamePad controller does not require batteries and it can be used with all games which are compatible with 60beat GamePad, says the company. The wide range of devices compliant with this controller are inclusive of iPhone 4S, 4 and 3G, both variants of the iPad and iPod touch 4G in addition to its newer versions.

The gaming device is packaged along with an audio splitter and a 4 foot cable from the headphone jack to the GamePad. This splitter and the device’s 3.5mm jack can work in conjunction with most cases and bumpers.

The 60beat GamePad controller for iOS devices priced at $49.99 (approx. Rs. 2,665), is up for grabs through the official company website.
