Gamers are in for a treat this Thanksgiving as two limited edition Nintendo 3DS bundles will go up for sale on November 24. The bundle either comes with the recently launched game Super Mario 3D Land or The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D along with the Nintendo 3DS system drenched in shades of flame red and cosmo black.
The bundle featuring the Super Mario 3D Land game includes the flame red colored console, while the one with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D game comes with the cosmo black 3DS variant. This black Nintendo 3DS is a twenty-fifth anniversary limited edition system which comes with gold embellishments and Hyrule emblem.
The system sports a stereoscopic wide-screen display of resolution 800 x 240, assigning 400 pixels to each eye in order to create the 3D effect. Also, the device is fitted with another LCD screen at the bottom which renders 320 x 240 pixel resolutions. It is integrated with the 3D Depth Slider which can be used to adjust 3D settings for an improved performance. Users can also enjoy games in 2D by turning off the 3D functionality.
This intuitive system is deployed with motion sensor as well as gyro sensor to recognize and react to motions like tilting and twisting the system. Also, the device is accompanied by the Nintendo 3DS stylus which can be adjusted in size for input flexibility. In addition to buttons for different commands, the system is embedded with a Circle Pad for better control. Additionally, the 3DS employs two outer cameras to capture 3D photos.
The Nintendo 3DS bundle carries a price tag of $199.99 (approx. Rs. 10,509).
