Here’s still more news regarding the products to be displayed at the upcoming CES 2010, and this one’s sure to be of interest to ardent gamers with iPhone or iPod touch devices. PosiMotion has revealed plans to uncover their Helix gaming grip for iPhone and iPod touch devices at the event.

“If you want to have a Texas Hold’em tournament on the road with multiple devices, there’s no way of connecting wirelessly in transit. We wanted to give the end user a mobile gaming hub that does just that and more,” commented PosiMotion’s V P of Sales, Brian Beighle.

Helix is meant to be a gaming grip exclusively designed for the iPhone and iPod touch devices. It is claimed to perk up accelerometer-based gameplay. This sleek product boasts of an ergonomically designed and extremely portable form factor.

“Not only does the simplicity of Helix make it easy to travel with, but it allows the end user to play games in both landscape and portrait mode,” declared PosiMotion’s President Olivier Hennessy.

In celebration of Helix’s unveiling, PosiMotion will sell their G-Fi VS for $49.99 (approx. Rs.2,335) for a limited time period.

Looks cool. Company claims its design will not hinder the ability to touch the onscreen buttons and you can charge your device while connected, and should you need to shoot video or snap a photo, there is a hole for the camera. Sweet, a design actually based on function.
