Well, Nanotech has introduced a new and unique way to play pinball with the introduction of the Multipin digital pinball machine, reports Technabob. This digital machine looks pretty much like the classic pinballer and is the size of a single cabinet. The Multipin is loaded with seventeen renditions of the pinball game.
The Multipin digital pinball machine is made available with a number of original pinball games, as well as several modern remakes of this classic Gottlieb pinball game. The Multipin features a large 32-inch, 720p high-def LCD monitor that is set into the playing surface under glass. The machine not only looks like a classic pinball machine but also incorporates similar controls. The players can control their games with the classic trappings, mechanical plunger and clicky flipper buttons.
This pinball machine also provides sound effects that are similar to a mechanical pinball machine. The digital motion sensors embedded in the cabinet let players nudge and shake the ball around the table. The second LCD screen that is placed under the machine’s backglass is used to display scores, game graphics and occasional mini-games.
The Nanotech Multipin digital pinball machine is currently up for sale at Hammacher Schlemmer. The machine is priced at $6000 (approx. Rs. 2,81,040). The company also plans to offer upgrade packs with additional tables for this machine in the near future.
