Hudson Entertainment has released its latest mobile phone game, named the Bomberman Land: Battles. This mobile game provides explosive adventure on-the-go for the first time.
Following the million-unit-selling mobile game Super Bomberman, this new series of games sports 32 huge maps that have branching paths. Starting with the basic Bomberman, there will be upgradation of characters soon after passing the themed levels.
Players are allowed to choose one of the three different paths as they complete each level. It is recommended that gamers have to choose paths very carefully due to each of the 15 unique power-ups that are found in a specific path. They have to utilize these power-ups wisely and win each of the five enormous boss fights.
“The Bomberman franchise remains one of Hudson’s best-selling and most-recognized properties,†commented John Greiner, President and CEO of Hudson Entertainment. “By bringing the Bomberman Land series to mobile phones, we are continuing to expand the fan base of this adventure-oriented series while also introducing some of the franchise’s longtime console supporters to the mobile game market.â€
After each boss is defeated, users get the opportunity to unlocked as opponents in VS. Mode, allowing fighting against other Bombermen in classic Bomberman battles.
Furthermore, you are also given the freedom, to play this game on Nintendo Wii and Sony PSP, whereas the Bomberman Land Touch 2 supports the Nintendo DS. These games will start shipping on January 29, 2008 for $29.99 (approx. Rs. 1200). The Bomberman Land: Battles game will be available for all major BREW and Java mobile phones.
