Wii Fit To Land in US Stores on 19th May

Nintendo Wii Fit After the Japanese and European launch, the Wii Fit is all set to hit the Unites Stated. The Wii Fit package, including the game and the wireless balance board, will arrive in the American market on 19th May.

The family game comes in the shape of a household body scale. The color scheme makes it look elegant, wherein the board top is white colored and the bottom is grey. The features include pressure sensors to manage the virtual movements and to measure the user’s mass and body mass index.

Additionally, the fitness game sports over 40 types of training activities that are distinguished under four fitness categories:

  • Aerobic Exercise: 10-minute exercises that are designed to get the heart pumping
  • Muscle Conditioning: Controlled motions using arms, legs and other body parts
  • Yoga Poses: Classic poses that focus on balance and stretching
  • Balance Games: Fun activities, such as ski jumping and heading soccer balls, which challenge the player’s overall body balance

    • It has the ability to keep track of 8 people’s progress. To calculate an individual’s BMI, he/she needs to insert the Wii Fit Disc into a Wii console that would enable the Wii Balance Board to scale their weight. However, it is important to add the Wii Fit channel to monitor the performance.

    The Nintendo Wii Fit will cost only $89.99 (approx. Rs. 3560). Since its debut, Nintendo managed to sell 1.5 million Wii Fit units.
