Nintendo Wii Fit to ship in Japan on 1st December

Nintendo Wii Fit Three months back, Nintendo has presented Wii Fit. Now, Nintendo has announced the availability of its new home fitness game, dubbed the Wii Fit in Japanese market.

The features of the Wii Fit include a pressure-sensing mat, the Wii Balance Board that can sense when a person moves and leans, which allow the player to head virtual soccer balls and experience ski jumping on a TV screen. You can also do yoga and aerobics on Wii Fit.

Comprises of 40 different training activities, the Wii Fii offers user to:

  • Do 10-minutes Aerobic exercises to get the heart pumping
  • Do muscle conditioning that controls motions by using arms, legs and other body parts
  • Do Yoga poses for balance and stretching
  • Enjoy Balance games that include ski jumping and heading soccer balls for overall body balance
  • You can compare the results and progress on the Wii menu. The device measures Body Mass Index (BMI) via Wii Fit software and Wii Fitness Age that is measured by factoring the user’s BMI reading.

    BMI is a weight evaluation based on a ratio of weight to height, whereas Fitness Age is basically testing the user’s center of gravity and conducting quick balance tests.

    The Nintendo Wii Fit game will be on shelves on 1st December 2007 with the estimated price of 8,800 yen (approx. Rs. 3000).
