In the Korean market, Nexon Mobile and Mikoishi have joined hands to launch a new mobile game, dubbed Steam Iron: The Fallen, for 3G users. It is a true online RTS game that delivers a Starcraft-like experience and flawless multiplayer gameplay.

The first installment in the Steam Iron franchise, this newest mobile game offers real-time head-2-head gameplay, featuring Mikoishi’s Theatre engine for unique spectator and television broadcast capabilities

“Steam Iron: the Fallen, is another example of the unique interactive entertainment products Mikoishi is producing. By leveraging Theatre’s real-time broadcast and spectator features we developed for our PC online games we can now incorporate these unique features to our mobile product line thus enabling closer co-operation with traditional media,” mentioned Alex Goatcher, Chief Creative Officer of Mikoishi.

Players can get their hands on the Steam Iron: The Fallen mobile game by late April in Europe and by later this year in the US, China and Taiwan. The Steam Iron 2 mobile is slated to launch in Korea in November 2008.
