To compete with the competitive gaming industry, there are rumors that Xbox 360 will bring in a new remote which is similar to the remote of Nintendo’s leading Wii game console.
There is no official announcement about the introduction of the new remote; however a source from Xbox 360 revealed the secret to MTV News report. The Xbox 360 source chose to keep his name anonymous and also provided a sketch of the newly designed Wii shaped remote. When MTV news tried contacting Microsoft, they chose to remain silent about the rumor.
The functionality and the control buttons are also expected to be the same as the Nintendo’s Wii remote. The launch date of this new remote has not yet been mentioned, but if launched, the remote is all set to revolt a new competition between both the leading companies.
