Buffalo Wi-Fi Gamer, a Wireless Router for Console Gamers announced

Buffalo W-Fi Gamer Unit Buffalo has announced to launch Wi-Fi Gamer, a new wireless router designed exclusively for console players offering them simplified Internet access.

Connecting the Wi-Fi gamer to a console is very simple. Users have to simply plug it into an available port on an existing LAN. Once this is done, press ‘Connect’ located at the head of the device. That’s it, the game system gets ready to play online games.

Buffalo has also set up the AOSS (AirStation OneTouch Secure System) standard for its networking products that lets devices to link wirelessly and securely to the internet with a single push of a button.

Also, Buffalo’s Gamer saves all security settings; therefore players can skip the process of entering same settings every time they want to play online.

Buffalo has completed successful experiments of connecting the Gamer with both Nintendo and Sony on the Nintendo DS, Wii, Sony PSP and PlayStation 3 in Japan.

Buffalo is expected to ship the Wi-Fi Gamer device in the US market by August at an approximate price of $50 (around Rs. 2,025).
