Most Parents are Concerned about Videogames’ Content

Gaming is becoming an essential part of children’s entertainment these days. The gaming content is ought to affect children. But are the parents concerned about it?

After surveying 4000 parents across Europe, Microsoft has come to the conclusion that 75 per cent of the parents are worried about the content in videogames that their children play.

Moreover, about 50 percent parents said that they are unsure of game ratings. However, the other half respondents said that gaming should be kept to a maximum of one hour per day.

The survey also revealed that 64 percent children play games alone, 12 percent of them play with friends, while only five percent play online multiplayer titles.

The survey results clearly show that children’s entertainment is a serious matter to parents, which they do not tend to take lightly.
