Sony Bravia HX850 Series HDTVs debut in India

Bravia HX850 Series

The Sony Bravia HX850 Series goes high on entertainment and heavy on the wallet for those in India seeking something more than just a big screen HDTV. Apart from the sleek frameless design, the company also brags about the TV’s eco-friendly features.

Measuring 808mm in height while mounted on the stand, the device wears a 55-inch 4x High Speed 3D display offering an aspect ratio of 16:9. Through the X-Reality Pro engine, the 3D Super-resolution feature aims at delivering a rich 3D viewing experience. There is also the Super Bit Mapping for Video highlight which takes care of color gradation.

Adding to the display’s clarity is Motionflow XR800/960 technology that clubs in image interpolation and IB reduction. It also throws the LED backlit panel into the mix, which can be adjusted according to the user’s liking through modes such as standard, smooth, clear, clear plus and impulse. Along with four HDMI-in sockets, the chassis bears two USB 2.0 ports and a socket for an Ethernet connection.
