Along with the ICS based IdeaTab S2, the Lenovo S2 smartphone as well as the Lenovo K91 Smart TV have arrived in China. With the introduction of the Android 4.0 platform based K91, the company has gone on to become one of the first ones to have integrated this OS into a television.

The company has introduced the Lenovo K91 Smart TV that claims to be the first television in the tech circuit to run the Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Capable of offering internet applications and traditional TV programs, this gadget also includes the option of Video On Demand (VOD). Featuring the 3D FPR technology, the TV projects high definition videos on its IPS panel. In addition to clear visuals, it is equipped with the SRS TruSurround technology to reproduce good quality audio.

The K91 can be employed to browse through applications in the Android Market and the Lenovo store. Its speech recognition technology and voice control with natural language processing helps executing voice commands. Moreover, this Smart TV is armed with a 5MP camera with face detection that also helps with advanced parental control besides video conferencing. It is compliant with cloud services, thus allowing access to digital content stored from various other devices like smartphone, tablets, PC systems and more.

The Lenovo S2 smartphone is powered by the Android Gingerbread platform and acquires its multitasking properties from the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Integrated with the Kernel-level security system, it eliminates possibilities of unauthorized access to personal information along with controlling the network as well as SMS traffic. Featuring an 8MP camera to record high definition videos, the phone also lets users hoard digital content in cloud storage spaces.

The Lenovo K91 Smart TV and Lenovo S2 smartphone price and availability details have not been disclosed clearly. They are up for grabs in China.
