Sharp to ship Aquos Quattron LE835 3D TVs in coming weeks

Aquos Quattron Sharp’s Aquos range is all set to start shipping the Quattron LE835 3D TVs in the coming weeks. Infused with the three dimensional technology, this series is available in 40”, 46”, 52” and 60” screen sizes.

These 3D TVs incorporate Sharp’s proprietary edge-lit X-Gen LCD panels and Quattron Quad Pixel technology. The range spreads a wider color palette and promises to flash brightest images compared to other LCD TVs. These models also equip Wi-Fi, network functionality like video streaming, apps from Internet, and so on.

The yellow color (Y) has been added to the traditional television pixel structure which includes R (red), G (green) and B (blue) by the proprietary Quad Pixel technology. So, it helps in reproduction of colors which otherwise is likely to be difficult in conventional LCD displays.

The yellow sub-pixel allows more light to pass through panel. Moreover, the pixel control technology minimizes light leakage. Thus, issues like dark and dull images when viewed with shutter 3D glasses have been resolved in the LE835 3D Series.

The picture quality is enhanced with the exclusive Sharp AquoMotion 240 technology. It virually eliminates blur and artifacts from speedy moving scenes. The LE835 models further imbibe Quad Pixel Plus for improved image resolution. It is inclusive of four HDMI inputs for simple connections to multiple HD components. However, the pricing is unclear.
