It seems like Sharp is on a roll as it will soon reveal not just one or two offerings but eight new models into the Japanese market. The company will grace shelves with new additions to the DX Series of LED Aquos LCD TVs with integrated Blu-ray Disc recorders. They even possess various screen sizes such as 52V-, 46V-, 40V-, and 32V-inches.
The latest offerings include next-generation LCD panels with Sharp’s photo-alignment technology and LED backlight system. Thanks to this inclusion, users can enjoy excellent image quality with a contrast of 5,000,000:1. They also provide consumers with high energy efficiency capabilities and consume low levels of energy. The TVs are the overall home entertainment system as it includes recording and playback of Blu-ray Disc and DVD titles. Besides sporting these features, the TVs also boasts of recording functions like extended recording time of up to 36 hours on one disc.
The LC-52DX3 and LC-46DX3 can be espied in a black hue while the LC-40DX3, LC-32DX3 and LC-26DV7 are drenched in black, white and red. The first three models offer full HD of 1,920 x 1,080 while the latter two provide HD of 1,366 x 768. The products come complete with Aquos High-Picture-Quality Master Engine, Home Network function as well as Preferred Image Sensor. They are also compatible with Aquos Familink II.
The LC-52DX3 includes a LCD panel of 52V-inch, TFT active-matrix drive and dot count of 1,920 H x 1,080 V pixels. The TV itself comprises of 6.5-cm diameter x 2 speakers and Max. audio output of total 20W. The power consumption is 178W while the standby is just 0.1W with annual power consumption of 169 kWh/year. The main unit measurements of the display section with table stand is 126.8 x 28.7 x 83.0 cm and weighs 30kg.
The LCD panel of the LC-46DX3 sports a screen size of 46V-inch and TFT active-matrix drive with dot count of 1,920 H x 1,080 V pixels and TV contrast of 2,000,000:1. The speakers are 6.5-cm diameter x 2 while the Max. audio output and AC power supply voltage is total 20W and 100 V AC, 50/60 Hz respectively. The power consumption is noted to be at 162W with standby at just 0.1W and annual power consumption amounting to 148 kWh/year. Coming to its main unit dimensions the display with table stand measures 113.0 x 28.7 x 75.1 cm and weighs approx. 26kg.
The company also offers a wall-mount option in combination with the dedicated option. The wall-mount fixture AN-52AG6 can be acquired for 26,250 yen (approx. Rs.12,581) and is compatible with LC-52DX3 and LC-46DX3. The AN-37AG4 and AN-37AG3 are compatible with LC-40DX3 and LC-32DX3 respectively. They are priced at 18,900 yen (approx. Rs.9,055) each. Finally, the AN-130AG1 bears a cost of 9,450 yen (approx. Rs.4,527) and can be used with LC-26DV7 model.
