With scuttlebutts about Barnes and Noble’s e-book release darting all around, it appeared quite uncertain about its official arrival. But, here comes good news for users. Barnes and Noble’s Nook e-book reader is now officially annunciated.
The Nook features a six-inch 16-level E-ink screen with a color touchscreen underneath for navigation and settings purposes. Functioning on Android, the e-book delivers an unparalleled performance while maintaining its dainty appearance.
This exquisitely designed device features a nice LCD, but not overly bright. Its LCD seems quite passive and has a shallow viewing angle to gather more ambient light and save on battery. Further, this e-book’s interface appears relatively intuitive.
Barnes and Noble’s e-book pre-sales are live now for $259 (approx Rs. 12,023), and it is expected to ship in November.
