Hanwha Japan launches 7-inch VM-TL7 LCD display

Hanwha VM-TL7 LCD Display In times when secondary displays are increasingly gaining popularity, Hanwha Japan has released the VM-TL7 LCD display, reports Akihabara. This LCD display breaks the tradition of connecting secondary displays via USB ports, by connecting to PCs and laptops via a D-Sub VGA port.

This simple display occupies minimum space. Usually, external display links use a fraction of the CPU power to create a virtual graphics card for display while the VM-TL7 uses the dual-head graphics card incorporated in the PCs or laptops. The D-Sub VGA port is a bit inconvenient to use when compared to the USB port. The VM-TL7saves the processing power used to create a virtual graphics card.

The VM-TL7 is a WVGA display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The contrast ratio of 200:1 perfectly complements the 240cd/m2 brightness to provide stunning clarity. The 30ms response time of the VM-TL7 is a bit slothful and dims the interest created by the other features.

The Hanwha Japan VM-TL7 is now available for purchase in Japan and will cost users a hefty sum of $223 (approx. Rs. 10,679).
