Dell launched its new 7609WU DLP projector that is capable of creating images with 1920×1200 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
The 7609WU projector offers 2700:1 contrast ratio, 3,850 lumens brightness, two VGA inputs, HDMI inputs, DisplayPort, Ethernet jack, composite and RS232 serial ports.
You can mount the projector on the desktop or ceiling; it supports front as well as rear projection configurations and can create images up to 301 inches. It also features Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture viewing, a pair of 5W speakers, 3.5mm stereo jack, 12V output for triggering a motorized projection screen and a 5V output to power external devices.
The projector comes with a remote control with an integrated laser pointer. Its 300W lamp life is about 2,000 hours and can be extended up to 2,500 hours in Eco mode at the cost of brightness.
The Dell 7609WU DLP projector is now available at the Dell web store for $4,999 (approx Rs.2,32,619).
