Planar has launched three new LCD displays in three different sizes that add to the company’s PX series of LCD screens. It provides up to 82 percent more screen space than a standard 4:3 19-inch display.
All the three widescreen monitors in 22-inch, 24-inch and 26-inch are developed especially for SMBs, and graphics professionals delivering high-end graphics and other demanding applications such as graphic design, video editing and computer-assisted design manufacturing (CAD/CAM), finance, advertising and marketing professionals.
Planar offers 800:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, 1920×1200 resolution, 500cd/m2 brightness, and 178/178 degrees viewing angle to the 26″ PX2611W LCD monitor. The 24-inch PX2411W carries 1920×1200 resolution, 450cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast, and 6ms response time. Next in the line, the 22″ PX2211W comes with 300cd/m2 brightness, 1680 x 1050 resolution, and 178/178 degrees viewing angle.
It also has the capacity to display multiple application windows, web pages and documents simultaneously, which limits the time spent switching between windows and programs.
The additional features of the PX2611W are Planar’s RapidVideo accelerator and 5ms gray-to-gray response rate for the best video performance even with fast motion, DVI-D, VGA video inputs and 4-Port USB 2.0 for flexible monitor setup and an easy interface with printers and other peripherals, QuadStand with an extended 2.2 inches of height adjustment and 340 degrees swivel.
The PX2411W sports Planar’s RapidVideo accelerator and contrast ratio 6ms gray-to-gray response time, DVI-D, VGA video inputs, QuadStand with over 3.5 inches of height adjustment and 25 degrees of tilt and exceptional crisp, clear images, text and beautiful rich colors at any angle.
Planar’s PX2210MW comes bundled with DVI-D (with HDCP) and VGA video inputs, built-in TrueMedia speakers and headphone jack and 36 percent more room screen space than a standard 19″ 4:3 monitor.
The price of the PX2611W, PX2411W and PX2211W LCD monitors are $900 (approx. Rs. 36000), $600 (approx. Rs. 24000), and $300 (approx. Rs. 12000) respectively.
