Gateway has introduced the world’s first Quad-HD multi-purpose ultra-high resolution LCD monitor called XHD3000, having a 2,506 x 1,600 pixel resolution display. According to manufacturers, the new LCD is ideal for high-end gaming, music and video production and editing, graphic and 3D design and offices running demanding media applications.
Gateway’s XHD3000 has a big screen that can be utilized for both entertainments as well as computing applications. Other features of the unique screen includes contrast of 1,000:1, brightness is 400 cd/m2, 178 degrees of viewing angle both horizontally and vertically and refresh rate is 6ms.
Moreover, it offers compatibility with several input options such as HDMI, single-link/dual-link DVI-D, VGA, component, S-video and composite video.
It will come with a four-device universal IR remote control that can also control three additional devices such as Media Center PC, cable or satellite set-top box and DVD player.
Gateway’s XHD3000 is now available at the price of $1,699.99 (approx Rs. 67,050).
