Globe-trotter Fujifilm X-Pro1 Suitcase

In a bid to offer a convenient option to carry around the Fujifilm X-Pro1 camera, the company has collaborated with Globe-Trotter to come up with a vulcanized fiberboard suitcase. These 12 limited edition cases will be launched exclusively through Harrods Technology.

The handmade suitcase has been manufactured using Victorian machinery, while the vulcan fiber utilized in it is made of 14 layers of bonded paper. The tan leather design along with brass rivets and locks add to is stylish appearance. And if that’s not enough, the limited edition carrying cases have been embedded with brass plaques as well as an embossed leather tags each that says ‘Harrods Exclusively.’

“Globe-Trotter’s rich heritage, dating back 115 years, has always been about quality design, materials and craftsmanship. When approached by Fujifilm to produce a bespoke limited edition case for the X-Pro1, exclusively for Harrods, we were very excited. The combination of a traditional suitcase with the X-Pro1 camera, a piece of modern technology at its finest, is something new and exciting for our heritage brand. The sleek and elegant Fujifilm Globe-Trotter suitcase allows the classic X-Pro1 to be transported by photographers in style,” quoted Gary Bott, Creative Director at Globe-Trotter.

The accessory for the X-Pro1 features various compartments to accommodate the camera and other equipment including the flash, filters, its 18mm, 35mm and 60mm lenses and lens hoods. Additionally, this suitcase is said to perfectly complement the retro-styled imaging device with its aesthetic appeal.
