Fujifilm has been enriching its digital camera portfolio with new feature-rich products and was last spotted unleashing the FinePix X100. The company has now stepped into the Indian terrain with its FinePix AV200 camera. This new entrant comes along with a 14 megapixel sensor and a 3x Fujinon zoom lens.

The offering shows off advanced resolution sensors and precisely merges Fujinon optics with high sensitivity settings to put forth sharp and detailed photos irrespective of the shooting conditions. Owners need not worry about image blur caused by hand-shake or subject movement since the unit includes digital image stabilization technology.

Kenichi Tanaka, Managing Director, Fujifilm India, commented, “Fujifilm has launched the new ‘A’ series cameras that are sure to be on the year’s hot list. The AV200 is a unique 14 megapixel camera and has excellent high resolution sensors combined with high sensitivity settings to deliver sharp, clear images whatever the shooting conditions may be.”

The scene recognition auto mode examines the scene type as well as shooting conditions in order to optimize the camera’s focus, exposure and white balance. The lightweight AV200 includes 21 pre-programmed scene modes, face detection, automatic red-eye removal, motion panorama mode along with single and tracking auto focus modes. Users can also record 720p HD videos and full HD images with ease.
