Cameras serving as a webcam or with the waterproof capability, Panasonic’s new range seems to offer it all. The company has released two mobile cameras namely, the HM-TA20 and the HM-TA2, alongside three dual cameras – the HX-WA10, the HX-DC10 and the HX-DC1. All five cameras comprise full HD 1920 x 1080 video shooting and MPEG-4 AVC file format (MP4) recording while tout to make editing and uploading videos convenient.

The compact mobile cameras – HM-TA20 and HM-TA2 have tough exteriors and a 3.0-inch touch LCD enabling them portable and easy-to-use. Besides the night view mode, they feature one-touch access for controls like play, record, stop, zoom and edit. These cameras can be connected to a computer through the integrated USB terminal and edited images can be directly transferred to the system using the built-in software. Besides, the HM-TA20 is waterproof up to 10 feet, shockproof up to 5 feet and also dustproof and is capable of being used as a web camera for video chatting.

The easy-to-clutch, vertically designed HX-WA10, HX-DC10 and HX-DC1 dual cameras are embedded with separate buttons for video and photo. These cameras feature 5x optical zoom. The HX-WA10 and HX-DC10 are integrated with Backside Illumination (BSI) technology and offer 16 megapixel still photos while HX-DC1captures 14 megapixel still photos. Also, the HX-WA10 is waterproof up to 10 feet.

The HM-TA20 camera carries a price tag of $199.99 (approx. Rs. 8,940) while HM-TA2 is priced at $169.99 (approx. Rs. 7,600). The dual camera HX-WA10 is priced at $349.99 (approx. Rs. 15,650), HX-DC10 at $279.99 (approx. Rs. 12,520) and HX-DC1 at $199.99 (approx. Rs. 8,940). The Panasonic cameras will hit stores in July this year.
