Panasonic out with pricing for Lumix digital cameras

Photography aficionados pining to lay their hands on any in the line-up of Panasonic’s Lumix cameras can go forward with their plans now. That’s because Panasonic has announced the official pricing details of the Lumix DMC-ZS8, Lumix DMC-ZS10, Lumix DMC-FX78 and Lumix DMC-TS3 digital cameras.

The Lumix TS3, Lumix FX78 and Lumix ZS10 feature the Panasonic 3D photo mode lets users shoot realistic 3D images, which can also be viewed on a Panasonic Viera 3D HDTV. The Lumix ZS8 includes a 24mm ultra-wide angle 16x optical zoom Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens and sports a 3” LCD display to preview images. This digital camera is available in black and silver hues and those wanting to buy it will have to shell out $299.99 (approx Rs. 13,501).

The Lumix ZS10 shows off a 3” 460,000-dot smart touch intelligent LCD that allows for touch zoom, touch AF, touch playback and touch shutter. It includes a host of features such as full HD 1920 x 1080 video recording capability, 24mm ultra-wide-angle and a 16x optical zoom Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens. The gizmo also integrates a built-in GPS function to geotagg images. This model will been seen sporting red, black, silver, blue and brown shades with a price tag of $399.99 (approx Rs. 18,000).

The Lumix FX78 boasts of new Leica DC Vario-Summarit, 24mm ultra-wide angle lens for offering brilliant photo and video quality. It has a large 3.5” 16:9 aspect LCD display that accommodates various intuitive touch operations. This gadget enables users to lock in on a subject, while it tracks the concerned object with the AF tracking function. It will be spotted adorning the display showcases in black, gold and white colors and costs $349.99 (approx Rs. 15,750).

The 12.1MP Lumix TS3 digital camera is touted to be exclusively designed with active users in mind and features a rugged design. The various outdoor-friendly features offered by the camera are a compass, altimeter, barometer and a built-in GPS function. Along with offering users the ability to shoot 1920 x 1080 full HD videos, the manufacturers have accentuated the device’s toughness quotient by making it waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof and dustproof. Its red, orange, silver, and blue variants will be up for grabs at $399.99 (approx Rs. 18,000).

All four Panasonic Lumix cameras are set to be made available in late March.
