The company has now announced the pricing and availability details for its feature-rich camera portfolio.
Passionate photographers can lay their hands on the Lumix DMC-GF2 camera in mid-February. Dressed in different colors like black, silver, red and white, the camera will make users shell out $499.95 (approx Rs. 22,789). This compact, lightweight camera comes with an integrated flash and is compatible with lenses from the Micro Four Thirds standard as well as Panasonic’s new 3D interchangeable lens. The Lumix GF2K lens is tagged at $599.95 (approx Rs. 27,360) and the GF2C at $699.95 (approx Rs. 31,920). The Lumix G 12.5mm/F12 can be purchased for $249.95 (approx Rs. 11,397).
The company has also highlighted that the Lumix DMC-PF7, Lumix DMC-FP5, Lumix DMC-FH27, Lumix DMC-FH25, Lumix DMC-FH5, Lumix DMC-FH2, Lumix DMC-S3 and Lumix DMC-S1 are expected to hit stores in March 2011. These offerings boast of Optical Image Stabalization, HD video recording capabilities and Panasonic’s iA mode.
The Lumix FP7 model is priced at $229.99 (approx Rs. 10,487) and the FP5 model at $199.99 (approx Rs. 9,119). These solutions delight owners with 4x optical zoom lens with folded optics. Besides, the Lumix FP7 sports a 3.5-inch 16:9 touchscreen LCD. The Lumix FH-Series cameras feature 28mm wide angle lenses. The Lumix FH27 adorns a 3-inch touchscreen LCD and can be snapped up for $229.99 (approx Rs. 10,488).
On the other hand, the Lumix FH25 can be purchased for $199.99 (approx Rs. 9,119). In addition, both these cameras flaunt 8x optical zoom. The 16.1MP Lumix FH5 and the 14.1MP Lumix FH2 show off 4x optical zoom with new retractable lens. The 14.1MP Lumix S3 is priced at $129.99 (approx Rs. 5,928) and the 12.1MP Lumix S1 at $119.99 (approx Rs. 5,469). These units come along with 28mm wide-angle 4x optical zoom lens.
