FujiFilm has introduced its FinePix Z30 digital camera in India. With a new sleeker look, this camera with its Automatic Scene Recognition (SR Auto) feature automatically identifies different scenes, subjects and faces.
This Fujifilm digital camera available in black, orange and purple colors bundles up 10 megapixel camera, 2.7 inch TFT LCD screen and 3x optical zoom lens.

Z-30 comes with face detection technology along with automatic red eye removal features. In addition to this, users can upload the captured images and videos on various social networking and video sharing websites and even email them to friends. With the help of the successive movie mode, users can create new one minute video clips. This mode also allows merging of two scenes along with editing of start and end points.
Using the natural light with flash mode, one can click two successive images at the same time, with as well as without flash. Then the user can place them side by side to compare which one is better.
The camera features two shutter releases one for capturing still photos and the other for recording movies. It grants thirteen different scene positions with one-touch setting.
Z-30 supports SD/SD-HC media cards and comes with NP-45 Li-ion durable rechargeable batteries. This 117g (without battery) weighing camera flaunts approximately 5.7x digital zoom, 35-105mm lens, shutter speed between 8 sec to 1/2000 sec, USB 2.0 High Speed digital input/output and 1/2.3 ” CCD, 10 million effective pixels sensor.
This camera with 91mmx 59mm x 26mm dimensions, captures images at various resolutions like 3648 x 2736, 3648x 2432, 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200 and 640 X 480 pixels and records videos at 30fps in 640×480 pixel or 320×240 pixel resolutions.
It captures still images in JPEG (EXIF 2.2), movie clips in AVI (MJPEG) while audio in WAV file formats. Z-30 auto-focus camera also features centre and multi AF area modes and can adjust normal telephoto and macro focus distances.
Other shooting modes besides SR Auto include Sunset, Snow, Beach, Museum, Party, Flower and Text. Additionally, it also has preset white balance modes such as Incandescent light, Fluorescent light (Cool White), Fine, Shade, Fluorescent light (Warm White) and many more. It comes with approx. 10 sec. /2 sec. delay/Couple Timer/Group Timer self timers and also Long-period, Final-3, Top-3, Top-12 continuous shooting modes. Furthermore, the camera incorporates Forced flash, Suppressed flash and other flash modes.
Backed by a three year warranty, Fujifilm FinePix Z30 digital camera is available through all major retail stores in India at an introductory price of Rs.9,499, later it would be available for Rs.11,499.
