Nikon D3000 and D300s images leaked

Nikon D300s Camera

The images of the Nikon D3000 and D300s have been leaked, reports Engadget. The D3000 is said to be a scaled down version of the D5000.

The D5000 comes equipped with a 2.7-inch LCD display screen. This camera also includes 12.3 megapixel CMOS sensor, Expeed image processing system, face detection technology and Scene Recognition system with Active D-lightning.

Apparently, the D3000 comes with a smaller body and lacks the swivel LCD display available with its predecessor. The image also displays smaller stature, reduced size flash components and smaller viewfinder. The D3000 also eliminates the microphone and HDMI connections.

The image of the Nikon D300s closely resembles its predecessor D300. But is claimed to feature a microphone which was missing in the D300. However, the authenticity of the image is unsure. Rumors on the Internet also claim that the D300s will incorporate 720p video recording, microSD storage option, quite shutter mode and shooting speed of eight frames per seconds.

These images have not yet been certified by Nikon.
